Shoda Koho Early 20th-Century Japanese Woodblock Prints
Item Details
Two woodblock prints by Japanese artist Shoda Koho (1871-1946). Printed during the early 20th century, this pairing includes a print of a woman picking flowers from a tree branch titled By the Stream and a print of a frog sitting on a lotus leaf titled Frog on Lotus. Unframed, the prints are mounted on board and are marked ‘Koho’ to the lower right on the board.
Condition
Signs of heavy discoloration to the boards. There is a water stain along the left edge of ones of the boards. There is some rippling to the paper present.

Measurement is for the board. The prints measure 3.25″ × 13.5″.
