1847 Rogers Bros "Remembrance" Silverplated Flatware Set
Item Details
A silverplate flatware set by 1847 Rogers Bros (established 1847, Hartford CT, and became a division of International Silver in 1898). This is in the Remembrance pattern, first introduced in 1948. Each piece features a narrow bordered stem, and an oval handle with a double c-scroll border, that culminated in a flower blossom tip. The set of sixty-two pieces includes eight dinner knives with stainless blades, eight dinner forks, eight salad forks, a butter knife, a sugar spoon, sixteen teaspoons, eight soup spoons, a condiment spoon, eight iced tea spoons, two serving spoons, and a serving fork. They are presented in a mahogany finished wooden storage case, lined in red and marked for ‘1847 Rogers Bros. America’s FInest Silverplate’.
