1960s French Sunglasses and Foster Grants with a Display Box

A group of twelve pairs of circa 1960s sunglasses made in France and Foster Grants in a Panama Jack display box. The collection of French sunglasses includes a pair of oval black plastic frames with a Filtrant France sticker to a lens; a pair of white plastic sunglasses in black, pink and white with a Verres Filtrants France sticker; a pair of pink metallic and white frames with diamond shaped lenses that are marked ‘Italy’ on one arm; and a pair of white and black grid patterned sunglasses with oval frames marked ‘France’ on one arm. The thick white cat eyes are made in France. Also featured are a clear pair with black, blue, yellow and pink accents and a black square pair made in France and a clear light blue oval pair marked, ‘Mod. 460’. The black Foster Grant sunglasses are marked ‘ff 77 Lens298’. There is a pair of Foster Grant sunglasses in black and pink with Comfortmatic hinges. The lenses are 400.FG and 500. A pair of black aviator style sunglasses with chrome arms made in Korea are also featured.

Condition

The pink around black frames are worn on the edges. There are some scratches on the lenses and frames.
