An original oil on board painting by well listed Cincinnati artist Tom Lohre. This painting is entitled ‘Katrina Relief Fund,’ and was painted in Hyde Park. A girl stands on the corner holding up a donation bin for Katrina relief. She looks frustrated as if no one cares just as much as she does. A wonderful painting by a thoroughly talented and inventive artist. Tom is the inventor of the Lego Mindstorm painting machine, painted the eruption of Mt. Saint Helen, and was the first artist to paint a space shuttle from life. This is an absolutely lovely painting housed in an outstanding gilt wood frame. Signature to bottom left hand corner.

Some mild wear to frame.
