An original glossy chromogenic color photograph by renowned British fashion photographer Tim Walker (England, born 1970), featuring model Ehrinn Cummings from a photo shoot for an issue of Allure magazine, circa 1998. The image was taken on a sandy beach on a bright, sultry, sunny day. Cummings is depicted upside-down in a playful bridge pose, her hands and bare feet planted firmly in the sand. She wears a saturated red sleeveless top and a flirtatious, fluttering magenta skirt. Her backdrop is the turquoise sea and clear blue sky. This photograph is not framed or signed by Walker, but comes from the collection of a previous employee of Allure magazine, as it was a gift from Allure’s art director, David Sebbah. Tim Walker went on to work more exclusively with Vogue magazine, began publishing monographs, art books, and moving into film. His work stands out as being whimsical, sublime, and blurs the lines between fashion, fine art, and theater.
