A 19th-century Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock print book. Printed in 1840 (Tenpō 11) by the publisher Suharaya Mohei (須原屋茂兵衛), the book is titled Models for the Sketch of the Floating Word (浮世絵画手本 Ukiyo ga tehon). The book contains monochrome woodblock prints with images of animals, insects, flowers, Japanese daily life from the time, and more. The book has a light brown soft cover.

Condition

- signs of heavy wear throughout. Foxing present. There are tears present in the book. Signs of damage and wear to the cover. There is a note that has been pasted on to the interior front cover.
