A signed, limited edition woodblock print titled The Long Snow (久多の雪 Hisata no yuki) by Japanese artist Katsuyuki Nishijima (born 1945). The snow-covered roof of a structure stands in the midst of a winter landscape in this woodblock print. Signed by the artist to the lower right, the print is titled in Japanese to the lower center and numbered 61/500 to the lower left. Unframed, the print is displayed in a white paper mat. Interested in Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock prints from an early age, Nishijima himself mastered woodblock printing while working at Mikamo Publishers in Kyoto, Japan.
