Late 20th Century Biedermeier Style China Cabinet by Century
Item Details
A late 20th century Biedermeier style china cabinet by Century. The mahogany case features a molded, double-arched cornice above a paterae-inlaid pediment with ebony accents. The glazed doors are flanked by ebonized half-columns and open to an electrified interior with glass shelves. Directly below the glazed doors are two sets of lower cabinets, each of which has a pair of crossbanded doors with lion’s mask, ring-form pulls. The left cabinet is fitted with an upper drawer while the right cabinet has a two-shelf interior. The whole piece rises on a molded base. The drawer retains a tag for ‘Century’ as well as a couple of paper labels. For a related lot see 16CLE054-013.
