A 1970s offset lithograph promoted the very well-known American rock band Grateful Dead’s 1975 studio album Blues for Allah. The album cover was designed by American illustrator Philip Garris (California, born 1951). It depicts a skeleton with a frizzy wave of gray hair wearing a long red and gold robe as it plays a violin. The poster has the band and album’s names printed along its top edge. The poster is presented without matting or framing.
