Antique Seaman's Chest

Item Details

An antique seaman’s chest. This piece comprises aged pine boards fastened together with dovetail joinery and metal straps. A hinged lift top reveals an open storage area with one smaller built in section to the left. Aged iron swing handles are fastened to either side. A wooden stand is included to convert the chest into a small table.

- shows cracking and scratches to wood and has a broken metal strap and missing front latch.
