A linocut on heavyweight rag paper by Margaret Burroughs titled Madonna. This black and white piece features the classic subject matter of Madonna holding the christ child in her arms each with their heads surrounded by halos in front of a geometric design wall. The print is titled and dedicated to the lower left and signed and dated to the lower right, both in pen. The print is mounted under a double layer of red and gray matting, under glass and presented in a silver tone wood frame; hanging wire and framer’s stamping present to verso.
