1928 and 1937 Baseball Trophy Medals

Item Details

A pair of gold filled antique baseball medals. The medal from 1928 is cartouche shaped and has a side view of a player swinging a baseball bat; ‘CHAMPS’ and ‘1928’ is embossed on the front. ‘W. Sierakowski’ is engraved on the back, at the top; ‘Wm. SCHRIDDE CHICAGO’ is engraved at the bottom, on the back. The 1937 medal is round; an embossed figure of a baseball player, getting ready to hit the baseball is on the front. The back has ‘Most Valuable Player 1937 Starrucca’ is engraved on the back. ‘G.F.’ is engraved along the bottom back edge of the medal.
