An antique British Colonial partner’s desk. The late 19th/early 20th century teak desk has a dark green leather writing contained within a molded mortise and tenon top with peg detail. The over hanging top has, on one side, two upper dovetailed locking drawers with brass bail handles, flanking a wider central drawer. The lower kneehole area flaked by three similar deeper drawers on each side. The pendant side of the desk with a similar upper arrangement of drawers with the kneehole area flanked by paneled mortise and tenon doors opening to reveal shelving. The sides of the desk with double vividly grained panels and the whole resting on a plinth base. The key is present.
