Limited Edition green 2006 Rookwood signed tile. This tile featuring the Tyler Davidson Fountain in Cincinnati’s downtown Fountain Square was created by Rookwood artist Gary Simon. This tile is the first in the Collection of Downtown Cincinnati icon tiles that began in 2007. This was a joint program commissioned by Downtown Cincinnati Inc. and sold exclusively through the downtown Macy’s store beginning the day after Thanksgiving. The production was limited to 500 tiles. This tile is stamped to the verso and signed by the artist ‘GDS’. It comes in the original box with manufacturer information. An ‘Ode’ has been stamped to the verso.
