Circa 1900 Bernard Bloch Art Nouveau Vase

A circa 1900 ceramic Art Nouveau vase by Austrian artist Bernard Bloch. This blue glazed vase has a freeform curving body with upturned spout. It is embellished by a molded female head with long blue-gray hair which swoops down to the base and sprouts up into a tall reeded plant from which an orange flower grows. The base is marked ‘BB 3746.’

Condition

- some crazing to glaze; light scuffs and scratches; would benefit from cleaning.
