Victorian Cast Iron Planter

Item Details

A cast iron Victorian jardiniere. The piece uses the traditional kylix design. The cast iron lip has a decorative acanthus leaf scrollwork adorning the lip and lowers to the lion head handles with ring within their mouths. The foot and fillet are accented with a reed pattern and lowers down to a square plinth base. The piece is unmarked by the manufacturer.
