Antique Haviland Limoges Porcelain Fish Platter
Item Details
An antique Haviland Limoges porcelain fish or service platter, circa 1890s. It features a ruffled rim along with molded foliage and scrolling along with transfer print flowering branches in duty pink, periwinkle blue, brown, and yellow accents. To the verso, it is marked with a green ‘H&Co L France’ mark indicating blank porcelain and was used from 1888-1896; and a red ‘Haviland & Co Limoges’ mark used at decorating factories from 1889-1931.
