A Wallace sterling silver set and more in a Naken’s tarnish proof silverware chest. This group includes a collection of Wallace sterling silver flatware in a Naken’s wooden chest. This Wallace silver flatware collection includes twelve flat handle butter knives, twelve dinner forks, twelve salad forks, twelve cocktail forks, twelve ice cream forks, twelve soup spoons, twelve long iced tea spoons, eleven dinner spoons, one small ladle spoon, one pierced bon-bon spoon, one serving spoon, one larger serving spoon and one large serving fork that are sterling silver. There are twelve dinner knives, a rectangular all-purpose server, a pie server and a cheese server that all have stainless steel blades and a hollow handle salad serving set with wooden ends. All Wallace pieces are of the same High English Renaissance styled pattern called Sir Christopher, and are marked ‘Sterling Pat. 94060’ with maker’s mark. The pattern was named after the royal architect Sir Christopher Wren. Also included in this lot are a small push grabber marked ‘EPB’ and ‘TRIPLEX-JUNIOR’, a pair of small tongs marked stainless steel, made in Sweden, and a small rose handled fork that is unmarked. The approximate total weight of the sterling in the set is 131.068 ozt, excluding items with stainless and wood materials.
