A unique lithographic poster from a series commissioned by Mobil Oil Corporation for the Bicentennial, circa 1976 titled, American: Third Century, featuring artwork by Robert Rauschenberg (1925-2008), who is best known for his important role in the pop art movement. This poster features a popular piece of artwork by Rauschenberg titled, Deposit, which depicts a collage of various pictures with a blue overtone. The print is housed behind plexiglass in a simple metal frame with a wire for hanging to the verso.
