An 1852 Manufacture Nationale de Chatellerault .60 caliber French naval pistol. This firearm features an 8.5-inch, .60 caliber smooth bore octagonal steel barrel with front and rear iron sights, percussion lock, ram rod and walnut stock. The steel plate on which the percussion hammer is mounted bears the inscription ‘Mre. Nle. de Chattellerault, T. la Ruelle,’ and a padded vinyl handgun case is included.
