Item Details

An antique Colt model 1849 pocket percussion revolver. This .31 caliber firearm features a blued steel frame, four-inch rifled barrel, brass trigger guard and back strap with walnut grips, and its percussion cylinder has a six round capacity. Each metal part of this piece is stamped with the serial number 217909, indicating it was manufactured in 1863 during the American Civil War. A padded vinyl gun case is included.
