A 1921 edition of John Lord’s Beacon Lights of History volumes 1-8, published by Wm. H. Wise & Co., New York. This set features textured brown clothbound covers, stamped decorative detail to the cover and spine, a colored torch beacon on the cover, and gilt lettering to the spine. These volumes represent a partial compilation of lectures on history by John Lord (1810-1894).
