Antique Index Calendar Clock

Item Details

An antique Ithaca Clock Co. Index calendar clock. Features a dark walnut finish to the case with a carved crown molding style pediment to the top and columnar sides and Eastlake style incised embellishments in the spandrels and between the two faces. Each face is finished in a cream tone and the upper clock features black roman numerals and hands. The calendar clock face features arabic numerals, a black hand and two date scroll windows and a center top window. The calendar face is marked Patented Apr 18th 1865 & Aug. 26th 1866. The calendar face is also marked Manufactured for Lynch Brothers. The pendulum and a working key is included. The back features the remnants of a paper tag. The clock winds and ticks, no further testing was done.

Condition

Winds and ticks, no further testing was done. Some discoloration noted on the faces of the clock and to the calendar scrolls, some scratches noted on the finish of the case and some wear to the gilt on the glass front.
