1920s Elgin Gold Filled Open Face Pocket Watch

Item Details

A 1920s yellow gold filled open face and lever set pocket watch by Elgin, model 13 and grade 466. The dial is porcelain with black and red Arabic numerals, black with blue tints hands, and a subsidiary seconds dial at the sixth hour position. It is marked ‘Elgin’ to the dial, and ‘W.W.C. Co Referee 20Yr. 5089123’ to the inside of the case. The movement is a size 16 and has 17 jewels with serial number ‘23564200’ dating it approximately 1921. Movement is marked ‘Elgin Nat’l Watch Co. U.S.A.‘, ’Adjusted 4 Positions’, and more. This pocket watch is currently running; however, it is not guaranteed.
