An original watercolor seascape painting on paper by well-listed American marine painter George Howell Gay (New York/Wisconsin, 1858 – 1931). The image depicts turquoise blue waves crashing against huge boulders along the coast of New England, sailboats on the horizon and seagulls coasting above the water. Artist signature is signed to the lower left. The painting is mounted behind white mat, under glass in a beveled wood frame with a hanging wire to the verso.
