An antique German glass stein featuring an applied blown glass handle. The lid is pewter and showcases a stylized duck-like thumb lift with beading, an embossed rim, and a porcelain insert. The porcelain insert is hand colored and depicts a young child relieving himself on a chamber pot, and it reads above him ‘Milder Beitrag zur Ökonomie’ which roughly translates to ‘A little contribution to the economy’.
