Item Details
A gouache on papyrus paper painting of an Egyptian style hunting Scene. This painting depicts a hunting scene with a male figure holding a bow in his left hand with the quiver attached to his chariot. The horse pulling the chariot has gold tone embellishments as it gallops alongside a cheetah and servant. Two cartouches in yellow colors are above the chariot while registers filled with hieroglyphics are on the left and right of the figures. A signature is an Arabic script to the lower left corner of the painting. The piece is presented under glass with a red mat and board backing, on the verso, a stamp from the Papyrus Institute is to the lower right corner.
