Vintage Elgin Open Face 14K Gold Filled Pocket Watch with Chain

Item Details

A vintage 14K white gold filled open face, size 12, pocket watch manufactured by Elgin, circa 1927. It features a silver-tone dial with metal Arabic numerals and a subsidiary dial at the sixth hour. The edges of the case are decorated with scrolled borders along with the crown and bale ring. Inside of the case is marked ‘Cased and Timed by Elgin National Watch Co’ along with the Keystone hallmark and ‘14K Gold Filled 1903313’. The movement has 17 jewels and is featured on a 3/4 plate. It is marked with serial number 29697623 and ‘Elgin Nat’l Watch Co. U.S.A.’. Watch was running during cataloging phase, but its time keeping ability was not measured nor guaranteed. Also included with the watch is white gold filled filigree chain and a pocket knife fob. Everything comes with a leather Elgin gift box.
