Vintage Forsum Wooden Box Purse with Painted Horse

Item Details

A vintage wooden box purse with a painted horse design. This light brown wooden box, resembling a cigar box, has a black and silver tone U-shaped handle attached to a strip of black leather on the side of the box opposite the hinges, and a black leather strap clasp which is attached to the lid and fastens below the handle. The front of the purse, i.e. the lid of the box, is painted with a brown horse’s head, green accessories, a red border and the word ‘Thoroughbred’ in black print capitals at the lower right. The inside of the lid reads, ’’Collector’s Item’ by; (Styled By) Forsum; decorated for You!’

Condition

- mirror missing from inside lid; distressed exterior paint.
