Frederic Remington Bronze Sculpture "Wooly Chaps"

A bronze sculpture comprised of bronze after a work titled Wooly Chaps by Frederic Sackrider Remington (1861–1909). The sculpture depicts a cowboy wearing wooly chaps and riding a rearing horse. This piece is an overhaul version of Remington’s famous Broncho Buster piece. Remington’s reproduced signature is present to the right corner of the base. This piece also includes a post casting stamp, dedicating the piece to John Hay, Secretary of State. This horse includes a mark or brand of a triangle inside of a circle.
