A variety of 45 rpm recordings by artists such as James Newill, The Ames Brothers, Riders In The Sky, and The Fleetwoods; these are without sleeves and in a vintage hat box. Older 78 rpm records include Crosby Classics, a bound Columbia set with Bing Crosby and other groups such as The Mills Brothers; inner cover is marked ‘Columbia Presents Crosby Classics – Columbia Records – Set M-555’. The Jackie Gleason LP is titled And Away We Go! with a cover depicting him dressed in a red-checked suit and cap with bowtie, and in his trademark stance. Selections on this record include ‘The Poor Soul’ and ’You’re a Dan-Dan-Dandy’. The Bing Crosby – St. Patrick’s Day collection, Decca Album No. A-495, includes ’McNamara’s Band,’ ’Don’t Get Around Much Anymore’ (with the Ink Spots), ’I’ll Take You Home Again, Kathleen’ and ‘When Irish Eyes Are Smiling.’
Condition
- Jackie Gleason record jacket is deteriorating. There are stains and tears to the Bing Crosby jackets. The records will need to be cleaned. All are untested.
