Vintage 1920s Camelback Wicker Sofa

Item Details

A 1920s vintage white wicker sofa. This sofa has a high camelback and arms with a slight curve. The sofa rests on eight straight legs with rubber capped feet and comes with three seat cushions in fruit patterned fabric with tones of blanched-almond, maroon and sienna, complemented by white wicked furniture structure. The manufacturer is unknown, but influence is present of Michael Thonet (1796 – 1871) a pioneer of modern bent wood approach to furniture production; a superior elegant concept, precise in it’s construction and practical approach.
