Homer Laughlin China "Priscilla"
Item Details
A set of Homer Laughlin Priscilla china. Produced by the Household Institute Company in the mid 1940’s, the pattern features a rose sprig in the center with smaller sprigs around the sides and a narrow band of gilt around the rim. This set includes a water pitcher, an oval platter, a round serving bowl, two oval vegetable dish, lidded sugar bowl, creamer, eight dinner plates, four luncheon plates, four salad plates, seven bread and butter plates, seven soup bowls, gravy boat, eight tea cups, six saucers, two fruit bowls, and a lidded casserole dish. Marked to the underside.
Condition
The gilding is worn on some of the china, a dinner plate has two chips on the rim, a tea cup has a crack in it, and a fruit bowl has a chip on the rim.
Dimensions
Measurements were taken from the items collectively.
The oval platter measures13.5"W x 1"H x 11"D.
The dinner plate measures 10" in diameter.
