14K White Gold Star Sapphire Ring with Diamonds

A 14K white gold star sapphire ring with diamonds. This ring features a pale blue oval shaped cabochon star sapphire stone in an eight prong setting, approximately 15 ct. The stone measures 10 mm x 15 mm x 9 mm. On each side of the star sapphire is a small round brilliant cut diamond in a four prong setting framed by two round cut sapphires also in four prong settings, totaling two diamonds and four sapphires. The diamonds measure 2.5 mm in diameter each with VS clarity, G-H color and a total of .12 ctw. The sapphires measure 3 mm in diameter each. The ring has a total approximate weight of ring (including stones) is 5.90 dwt. It is a size 6.5 and it is marked ‘585’ on inside of band.

Condition
-to fair. Star sapphire is slightly loose in setting and cracked on underside, but crack has not come through to the top. One round cut sapphire is not sitting flat in setting. Small surface scratches on star sapphire and band. Polishing residue present in crevices.
