Item Details

A World War II era wooden cannon ammunition crate with rope handles. The crate is marked ‘Ammunition for Cannon with Explosive Projectiles’ to the top of the hinged lid. The box features a hasp-style lock. The front of the crate is marked with serial and lot numbers, and denotes that the initial contents were for M1 and M29 mortars.
