A signed, limited edition offset lithograph of an original painting by John A. Ruthven (b. 1924) titled Bobwhite Quail, Colinus Virginianus. This piece depicts a pair of quails in mid-flight and surrounded by wild flowers. The print is numbered 572 in an edition of 990 in pencil and signed in plate and pencil to lower left and the title of the print is in typeset to lower middle. Mounted under a double layer of brown and cream matting, the print is presented under glass in a simple stained, wood frame; hanging wire and background information sheet on quails present to verso.
