An original watercolor painting on paper signed to the lower left by artist A. C. Cree, titled Lake Wakatipu, New Zealand. The image depicts a lush, tropical tree-filled utopia in which a cerulean blue lake spreads before a towering, jagged slate mountain range, an ethereal mist covering the landscape like a veil. The painting is mounted behind a thin white mat, without glass in a beveled wood frame with a gilt finish and a wire to the verso. Title is marked to the verso.
