A signed limited edition screen print titled I-S c.1970 by American artist Norman Ives (1923-1978), best known for his abstract grid-like constructions. I-S combines geometric forms in shades of red, blue, green, and black to create a unique visual harmony. This piece is pencil signed by the artist in the lower right margin along with the title, date, and edition number 31 out of 100. The print has a single white mat and is housed behind plexiglass in a simple metal frame with a wire for hanging to the verso.
Condition
Minor scratches to plexiglass and frame.
