Alexander Minewski Original Oil Painting "Red Mountains"
Item Details
An original oil painting on board titled Red Mountains by listed artist Alexander Minewski (1917 – 1979). The abstract expressionist inspired piece depicts a landscape scene with mountains, foliage and hillside rendered in thick brushstrokes of orange, red, green and black within grey and brown skies. The piece is signed ‘Minewski’ to the lower left corner and is presented in a wood frame with a gilt finish. There is a descriptive handwritten inscription and wire present to the verso and the piece is ready to hang.
