A 1943 hardcover first edition, second printing copy of Ayn Rand’s individualist philosophical novel, The Fountainhead. It has the printing errors which indicate the second printing, namely that the page number of page 9 looks like a 0, as well as typographical errors to pages 321, 381, and 480, all corrected in later printings. The novel is the story of the iconoclastic architect Howard Roarke, and was Rand’s first major literary success.
