Charles Keeping Original Lithograph on Paper "Man Backing Horse"

Item Details

An original lithograph on paper titled Man Backing Horse by listed British artist Charles Keeping (1924-1988) produced in February of 1958. The man towards the left places his hands on the horse and pulley at its side. The horse’s body starts to curve back as it prepares to move backwards with the unseen object it is attached too. The artist has hand signed and dated this piece in the lower right corner and titled in the lower left. This print is number 12 out of an edition of 15. Presented under glass in a black and off-white double mat and black painted wooden frame, to the verso, a horizontal hanging wire is present.
