An original watercolor painting on paper by listed artist Nolan P. Benner Jr. (1922 – 1998) circa 1970. Within cloudy blue skies the piece depicts a landscape scene with a large body of water and a sailboat, surrounded by sandy shore and green mountains to the lower area of the composition. The painting is signed ‘Benner Jr. 70’ to the lower right corner. It is presented under off-white mat board in a wood frame with aged golden tone finish. There is a wire attached to the verso and the piece is ready to hang.
