A hand woven Karaja rug, circa 1920. This rug features a bold red field with a central geometric medallion in light blue flanked by two side medallions in blue, red, golden, and black. The central medallion features geometric detail in light yellow, red, brown, and blue. The surrounding red field features floral and geometric motifs in blue, pink, beige, light blue, and black, and the rug features a triple border with repeating floral motifs in blue, beige, golden, and red. The rug features white fringe on either end.
