Antique Seth Thomas Co. "Adamantine" Mantel Clock

Item Details

An antique Seth Thomas mantel clock, dating to November, 1895. The clock features an Adamantine veneer molded body, carved detail, two faux marble columns, scrolled metal front feet, and a round central clock. The clock has a gold-toned metal egg and dart edge with a paper face marked ‘ST, Manufactured in the United States of America’. The back seems to have been painted black. Wound and tested at the time of cataloging and concluded to be in non-working condition. Comes with a winding key.

- to fair, chimes on the hour but otherwise doesn’t keep time.
