Item Details
A Wedgwood blue jasperware commemorative Apollo plate in presentation box. The plate features a laurel leaf border in white on a blue field, with raised inscription reading ‘Man on the Moon Apollo 11 July 20, 1969’. The central bas relief image depicts two astronauts and the lunar module on the surface of the moon with a US flag. Marked ‘Wedgwood Made in England’ to verso.
