A framed offset lithograph after well-listed modern artist Georges Rouault (1871-1958). Rouault was a renowned French artist whose work was typically labeled Fauvist or Expressionist. This work features a mother holding her child in her lap and exhibits Rouault’s signature application of rich, bold colors and abstracted forms delineated with heavy black outlines. The print is signed in plate in the lower left. It is not under glass, but is displayed in a gold-tone wood frame and is ready to hang with picture wire to the verso.
