Paul Rowell Oil Painting on Canvas Board Landscape
Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of a landscape by listed artist Paul Rowell (1895-1935). Influenced by Impressionists, Rowell paints a hilly landscape on the banks of a body of water with foliated trees to the foreground. Near the lower right corner, the work is signed in pencil by the artist. Two additional inscriptions in pencil are present to the lower left and lower right corners. Without glass, the item is presented in a decorative frame. Hanging wire and an inscription in pen are present to the verso.
