Item Details
An original painting on canvas by Atlanta-based artist Gene Allcott. This abstract acrylic work depicts a girl and dog in a pink and red convertible and is signed in the lower left, ‘1985 Gene Allcott.’ The subject is portrayed in a modern folk-art style with hard edges and unmodulated plains of bold colors. Allcott is a highly regarded alumnus of the Atlanta College of Art. An annual scholarship is awarded to an art student at the Savannah College of Art and Design in his name.
