Antique Empire Style Parlor Chairs

Item Details

A pair of antique Empire style parlor chairs. Each chair has a mahogany frame with burled veneer panel accents. Each top rail is decorated with applied carved decoration, topped by a shell medallion with acanthus leaves. They are upholstered in a floral patterned fabric, consisting of green, orange, yellow and gold color scheme on a tan background. They sit on turned front legs and curved back legs. The chair with armrests has metal casters on all legs, and the other has metal casters on the front legs and is shorter in stature. They match item 16LEX207-001.

Condition
