Antique Anglo-Indian Carved Ebonized Teak Settee
Item Details
An antique Anglo-Indian carved ebonized teak settee. This piece is constructed from ebonized teak wood that has been intricately hand carved in the Tree of Life pattern. The triple-chair back with finial topped stiles features a foliate design, consisting of flowers and thin serpents on the backrest panels. It also has carved armrests with serpent or fish fronts and a carved apron in the same foliate pattern. The cushioned seat is covered by a pink floral patterned upholstery. The settee rests on turned and carved front legs and curved back legs.

Condition
Consistent with age and use. Some surface wear and scratches, and a few chips, one notably on the back and on the legs. One finial was loose and has been repaired.
